Bulk mark orders ready for pickup

The DC Preorders app includes a feature that allows you to mark multiple orders as ready for pickup in a single action. This guide will help you understand how to use this function.

Prerequisites

Before proceeding, please ensure that:

1. You are logged into your Shopify admin panel.
2. You have orders that need to be marked as ready for pickup.
3. You are currently on the Pro plan in DC Preorders.

Steps

Here's how to bulk mark orders as ready for pickup:

1. Navigate to Orders Page: From your Shopify admin dashboard, click on "Orders" in the left-hand side navigation bar. This will take you to the page that lists all your orders.
2. Select Orders: Check the boxes next to the orders you wish to mark as ready for pickup. If you want to select all orders, check the box in the header row.
3. Access Bulk Actions: At the bottom of the page, you'll see the Bulk Actions button denoted by three dots (...). Click on this button to expand the list of available actions.
4. Bulk Mark Orders: In the dropdown list, look for the "Bulk marking orders ready for pickup" option with the DC Preorders logo next to it. Click on this option.

You'll be redirected to the DC Preorders app and all the selected orders will be marked as ready for pickup. Your customers will receive an automatic email from Shopify notifying them that their orders are now ready for pickup.

Important Notes

• The 'Bulk marking orders ready for pickup' action will apply only to the orders you have selected. If you have more orders that need to be marked as ready, you'll need to repeat the process for those orders.
