Bulk Updating Preorders with the DC Preorders App

This guide provides step-by-step instructions on how to use the bulk update feature in the DC Preorder Shopify app to update multiple preorders at once. Please note that you need to have at least a Pro Plan subscription to perform these actions.

Steps to Bulk Update Preorders

Follow these steps to update multiple preorders:

Step 1: Navigate to the Preorders Page

Start by opening the DC Preorder Shopify app on your device. Locate and select the 'Preorders' page, which should be available in the app's menu or dashboard.

Step 2: Access the 'Bulk Update' Feature

Once you're on the Preorders page, look for the 'Bulk Update' option in the page header and click on it. This will open a new interface where you can perform bulk actions on your preorders.

Step 3: Select the Status

By default, the status is set to 'Active'. If you want to change this, click on the dropdown menu and select the desired status.

Step 4: Select the Preorder Type

Next, choose the type of preorders you want to update. The options include 'Preorder - always available', 'Preorder - when out of stock', 'Preorder - limited availability', and 'Product variant'. Note that selecting 'Product variant' will remove the preorder status for the selected product variants.

Step 5: Set the Availability

Determine the availability of the preorders. You can choose to set a static or dynamic ship date.

Step 6: Choose the Products

Select the products to which the updates should apply. You can either select 'All Products' or choose specific products from the list.

Step 7: Update

Once you've made all the necessary selections, click 'Update'. Please note that the update process might take some time, depending on the number of products selected.
